Deutsch asked us to partner with them to help create a spectacular two-city OOH building-wrap to promote Sony Playstation’s newest first-person shooter game Resistance 2.

We were asked to create The Chimera, the bad guys in the game, arriving on both coasts, ready to wreak havoc. Our challenge was to integrate existing game art within each of the buildings environments; which gave the viewer the feeling the monster had just broken through the building leaving it destroyed.

The project was initiated first by our photography team in both Los Angeles and New York City, where the buildings were located.

While they captured the buildings environments, lighting, scale, texture and angles our studio was simultaneously working with the game developer, Insomniac Games, to create the proper pose and positioning of the character for each building.

Once we had the content locked down we were ready to create the hero images. Using a combination of captures, original illustrations, CG, retouching and stock photography both our Los Angeles and San Francisco studios worked seamlessly with Deutsch’s creative team to deliver the final art on time and on budget.
