XYZ Graphics Scores Award-Winning Industry Veteran Corey Rosen for Key Creative Role

XYZ Graphics, a leading creative service, image creation and post-production studio, is proud to announce the recent addition to its team of Corey Rosen in the newly created position of Creative Director, CGI & Animation for XYZ’s network of studios. A VFX industry veteran, with more than 15 years feature film and commercial background, Rosen will be responsible for teaming with XYZ’s clients’ creative department to preserve their vision on all 2D, 3D, motion-graphics, and broadcast projects.
“As our clients raise the bar, and continue to collaborate with us on more visual complex projects it’s imperative that we have someone like Corey to help them push their creative limits,” said Steve Waterloo, President of XYZ. “Corey’s background in VFX film and broadcast was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to create this position.”
Corey Rosen comes to XYZ most recently from Image Movers Digital where he served as the Character FX Technical Director on Disney’s A Christmas Carol, directed by Robert Zemeckis. Prior to that Rosen worked for The Orphanage, Industrial Light & Magic, and Lucasfilm Animation. Partial list of credit include: Superman Returns, Pirates of the Caribbean, Grindhouse/Planet Terror, Iron Man, War of the Worlds, The Day After Tomorrow, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
Rosen, an alum from Northwestern University, when not creating award-winning spots, can be found on many San Francisco Bay area stages performing his comedy and improv.
